What led you to the commercial real estate industry?

My dad, who works in the industry, sparked my interest early on. I have memories of tagging along to the properties he managed, even if it was just a quick stop at his desk! Those moments sparked my curiosity and inspired me to pursue a career where I could mix problem-solving with building relationships to manage and grow properties.

What has your involvement been like at BOMA?

For the past three years, I have been actively involved with both BOMA Greater Dallas and BOMA International. I have taken on leadership roles, such as chairing the BOMA Greater Dallas Trade Show Committee and the International Emerging Professionals Committee. I have also contributed to other committees and task forces at both the local and international levels. These experiences have connected me with industry leaders across different real estate markets—both seasoned and emerging professionals, sharpened my leadership skills, and kept me up-to-date with various market trends!

What advice would you give to emerging professionals in the commercial real estate field?

Be proactive in learning and meeting peers. Continuous learning and nurturing relationships are key to lasting success. Most importantly, do not wait for opportunities— go after them!

If you were trapped on an island and could only eat one food, what would it be?

Pizza. It’s the ultimate survival food—it’s like having an entire menu in one dish, keeping things interesting (even in isolation)!
