BOMA Names 2024-2025 Elected Officers at Annual Conference & Expo

 

(WASHINGTON, D.C.--July 24, 2024) The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International elected its 2024-2025 officers during its Board of Governors meeting at the 2024 BOMA International Conference & Expo in Philadelphia this month. 

The Board of Governors of BOMA International elected: 

  • Manuel Moreno, President, PJMB Commercial, Inc., Pleasanton, California as Chair and Chief Elected Officer for 2024-2025; 
  • Luci Smith, BOMA Fellow, RPA, FMA, Director of Property Management, Link Logistics, Winter Park, Florida as Chair-Elect; 
  • Kjersten Jaeb, RPA, LEED GA, Vice President - Asset Management, Outpatient Medical for Healthpeak Properties; as Vice-Chair 
  • And continuing his term as Secretary/Treasurer, Murray Greene, BOMA Fellow, CPM, RPA, SMA, President and Chief Operating Officer, Greene Commercial Real Estate Group, Inc., Hollywood, Florida. 


As president of PJMB Commercial, Inc., Manny Moreno oversees a 25-building portfolio of more than 560,000 square feet in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been an active member on the BOMA California Board of Directors for almost a decade and is a past president of the BOMA Pacific Southwest Region. Moreno served a two-year term as president of BOMA/Oakland-East Bay from 2014 through 2015 and he remains involved in the local association’s Nominating Committee. In 2018, Moreno served as vice chair of BOMA International’s BOMAPAC Council and participated in the Daniel W. Chancey Leadership Academy. At the BOMA International level, he also has also been involved in a variety of initiatives, including the Standard Methods of Floor Measurement Committee, the Office Building Standard Revision Task Force and, most recently, the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.  




Luci Smith, BOMA Fellow, RPA, FMA, is the Director of Property Management for Link Logistics, the largest US-only industrial owner.  She oversees the teams in the state of Florida, which comprises over 300 buildings and 1,300 customers.  Ms. Smith has been an active BOMA member since 2005, serving in multiple capacities at the Local, Regional and International levels.  She served on the BOMA International Executive Committee as a Director for four years and was most recently nominated Vice Chair of BOMA International.  She will also serve as Co-Chair of the Daniel J Chancey Leadership Academy and Chair of the BOMA International Workforce Development Committee.  In addition to aiding BOMA International’s Education Committee, Ms. Smith has taught numerous RPA, Leadership and Industrial courses.     




Kjersten Jaeb, RPA, LEED Green Associate, is Vice President - Asset Management, Outpatient Medical for Healthpeak Properties, a publicly traded healthcare REIT. Kjersten oversees teams in the Midwest and Northeast, with a portfolio comprised of 4.2MM square feet in 8 states. She has been an active BOMA member at the local (BOMA Greater Minneapolis), regional (Midwest Northern) and international level, including most recently serving on BOMA International’s Executive Committee from 2021-2024, when she was sworn-in as Vice Chair of BOMA International.  



Murray Greene is the founder, president and chief operating officer of Greene Commercial Real Estate Group. In his more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Greene has managed portfolios stretching across all property types. Throughout his decades-long BOMA membership, he has served as president of BOMA/Miami-Dade, BOMA Florida and BOMA Southern Region. Greene previously was a member of BOMA International’s Executive Committee and has held leadership positions for numerous BOMA International committees, including the Nominating Committee and Awards Committee. In 2019, he was selected to serve as the first chair of the Board of Managers for CRECI. Greene’s passion for education is reflected in his role as an instructor for a variety of industry courses and workshops for BOMA members throughout the years. He is a member of the 2012 inaugural class of BOMA Fellows.
