J. Bradley Kennedy Scholarship
The J. Bradley Kennedy Scholarship was established to strengthen the workforce and help ensure industry professionals have access to higher education to advance their careers. Funded through contributions from friends and colleagues, the scholarship provides an educational opportunity for a deserving individual who demonstrates a financial need and is pursuing, entering, or already engaged in a career in the property or facility management industries.
BOMI established the J. Bradley Kennedy Scholarship in 2011 to honor Mr. J. Bradley (Brad) Kennedy’s focus on excellence and his lifelong commitment to education. Brad served as property manager for the White House and on BOMI’s Board of Trustees for 17 years and was appointed as Chairman Emeritus in 2010. His commitment and loyalty to developing continuing education in the property management industry remained steadfast throughout his long career.
The application process opens on March 1 each year and closes June 30. Completed applications are evaluated in an objective and nondiscriminatory manner by an independent selection committee composed of experienced industry members. Details on scholarship requirements and policies can be found below.
