Enrolled students will be considered active and must complete their certificate enrollment within a three-year period. Students who fail to complete their certificate enrollment within the term will be considered inactive.
Enrolled students will be considered active and must complete their designation enrollment within a seven-year period with the option to request a one-year extension. Students who fail to complete their certificate enrollment within the term will be considered inactive.
Students have a six-month eligibility period to schedule and take their exam after completing any course. For more information on exam policies, please visit the page below.
Under the RPA® and FMA® Capstone programs, once all course requirements are complete, learners will take a culminating Capstone Exam. Effective January 1, 2021, new RPA® and FMA® learners will now be enrolled in the Capstone Experience for their respective programs.
BOMI recommends a high-speed internet connection for online courses and exams using the following browsers: Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Docebo will support the last 2 major versions of each of these browsers. Recommended Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 8 (or higher), OSX (Last two major releases), Most Linux Distributions
Students who register for an Online Self-Paced course will have access to online content for six (6) months from the date of registration. Course registration fee includes access to the digital book and exam with an active account. Digital books can be downloaded through VitalSource Bookshelf for longer access. A print book may be purchased at an additional fee. Within two business days of registering, students will receive an e-mail confirmation of registration in an online designation or certificate course, including information about how to access the online course. Paying an Exam Administration Fee extends both exam eligibility and access to online content.
Students who register for a Collaborative Virtual Learning course will have access to the online content for six (6) months from the class start date. When a BOMI course is updated, you have one year from your course registration date to successfully complete your course exam. If you are unable to complete the exam within that time frame, you must enroll in the new, updated course.

Course fees are determined by the delivery method you choose to take your class. Enrollment fees apply. See our price sheet for more information.
Fees are nonrefundable and must be paid with or before enrolling in a course, certificate, or designation program.
BOMI guarantees its course materials for up to 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our course materials, return them along with a coursebook return form to ViaTech within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Call BOMI at 1.800.235.BOMI (2664) to obtain a coursebook return form. Students who wish to return printed course materials for a Collaborative Virtual Learning or Accelerated Review class must return the materials 30 days before the class start date to receive a full refund.
Enrollment fees and digital fees are nonrefundable. To receive a full refund, course materials must be returned in the original shrink-wrap 30 days before the class start date. For cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the first day of class, credit can be applied to an Online Self-Paced or Classroom offering. For cancellations less than two weeks prior to the first day of class, a $100 (USD) cancellation fee also applies.
Students may receive a full refund within 30 days from registration if they have not accessed either the learning portal or the digital course book. Once these have been accessed, students are no longer eligible for a refund.
If a BOMI-sponsored class does not meet enrollment necessities, BOMI will notify students approximately two weeks prior to the scheduled class and all fees will be refunded. Arrangements will be made for the return of printed learning materials if applicable. Call your BOMA Local for up-to-date information about BOMA Local-sponsored Accelerated Review and Semester-Length classes and for information about specific policies.
BOMI is committed to providing an education opportunity for all persons and admits students of any race, color, gender or sexual preference, age, non-disqualifying handicap, religion or creed, or national or ethnic origin. By registering for BOMI courses, students agree to abide by BOMI's Non-Disclosure Agreement and Code of Professional Ethics & Conduct.
Orders will be processed within two business days. Shipping, including overnight, takes place once orders are processed. Only orders with completed and accepted payment can be processed. There will be a $40 processing fee for returned checks.
Students who wish to switch from one study method to another will incur a $150 (USD) Exam Administration Fee and either incur an additional fee or be entitled to a refund depending on the cost difference between the two study methods.
