How To Earn Continuing Professional Development Credits

Graduates who earned the RPA®, FMA®, and SMA® Designations are required to maintain up-to-date knowledge as active members of the industry by meeting continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.

CPD points can be earned through:
• Continuing Education for Professional License Renewal
• Course Credit
• Professional Accomplishments
• Board/Committee Memberships
• Association Memberships

Graduates may take a BOMI course to earn CPD points and can receive 10% of BOMI coursework by using code BWGD1734 at checkout.

Requirements and Details

Graduates must earn 18 points every three years to maintain their designation’s active status. The three-year renewal period begins on the date that graduates attain their first BOMI designation. Graduates who hold more than one BOMI designation are only required to earn 18 CPD points every three years. More details can be found in each designation’s graduate packet.
