Now through July 1, 2025, the BOMA Foundation is soliciting funds for Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

Our goal is to collect $10,000 to support the charity. On the Expo floor of this years conference, attendees can participate in the assembly of 'Summer Survival Kits' for at-risk youth. The kits contain essential supplies such as sunscreen, lip balm, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, foot powder, shampoo, fingernail clippers, soap, hand sanitizer, bottled water, and a rain poncho.

"We’re proud to offer support to the Bridge again this year," said Manny Moreno, Chair and Chief Elected Officer of BOMA International. "The first time was in 2021. The Bridge stands as a lifeline for young individuals, ensuring no youth is left behind on their journey toward independence."

All donations of $25.00 or more will be entered into a drawing sponsored by Kings III, where you have a chance to win one of two $250.00 gift cards. Additionally, donations of $25.00 or more will receive an exclusive collectible BOMA Cares pin.

All BOMA Annual Conference attendees are welcomed to join us on the Expo floor Sunday June 29 from 1:30-3:30pm to help assemble the 2000 Summer Survival Kits.

Bridge Over Troubled Waters provides effective and innovative services to run-away, homeless, and high-risk youth; helps youth avoid a lifetime of dependency on social services; guides youth towards self-sufficiency; and enables youth to transform their lives and build fulfilling, meaningful futures. Every year, this charity serves 2,000 homeless, run-away, and at-risk youth in Boston. Bridge Over Troubled Waters offers a range of services for youth ages 14 to 24 in a positive and safe environment.

The Bridge model in reaching as many youths as possible, providing youth with the confidence and skills to be self-sufficient, and supporting their housing needs until each young adult can truly be out on their own, living and thriving independently. The Bridge guides youth the whole way from homelessness to hope.

If more than the $10,000 goal is achieved, the BOMA Foundation will retain any balance of the funds and use it to support the work of the BOMA Foundation providing Emerging Professionals scholarship opportunities.

In-Kind donations will be in addition to the $10K cash donation to Bridge. Benefits will align with donor communicated value of the items.
